Instead of laughing at the ticket prices, be a real fan & go if it's so cheap

While tickets for the middleweight unification bout on October 17th don't officially go on sale till Wednesday, it's been a robust pre-sale in regards to the fight between Gennady Golovkin and David Lemieux who duke it out at the famed Madison Square Garden.

The ticket prices for Golovkin/Lemieux were widely reported. You don't need to live in NY and shoulda, coulda but didn't go to the fight to be able to read them and know that $50 is double, not half of, $25. So stfu.

You're taking pre sale articles. I'm telling you an actual first hand account of me going to stubhub to buy the ticket and last minute realizing I couldn't go. It's ok to be wrong man. It happens to everyone.

Is that suppose to be a bad thing? We boxing fans should be praying for things like this, we need boxing back at that level not paying £200/1000 for a ticket.

It's too bad you couldn't go if you had a chance of a cut-price ticket, but the official box office price of tickets for the Golovkin/Lemieux show is what I quoted.

It's good if you want to see the fights, not so good as a gauge of how much interest there is in the fighters among US sports fans.

So do you follow this sport to see the fights or do you wait to see how popular they are before you say youre a fan

You seem to have missed the point I was making.

i guess i did. If i lived near brooklyn i would swoop up $25 tix to 3 good HW fights quick and be happy im going to watch live. Not sure if i would even entertain the idea of whether people i dont know were interested
