    Heavyweight Andy Ruiz will fight veteran Danny Batchelder on January 16 in Dallas, Tex., Top Rank matchmaker Brad Goodman told BoxingScene.com.

    Also in action will be unbeaten junior lightweight Erick De Leon fighting Fidel Navarrete. Both fights are scheduled for eight rounds and will take air on UniMas, beginning at 11 p.m. ET/ PT.

      Arum is ruining his boxers with meaningless and soft opposition.

      Batchelder was a tough journeyman 8-10 years ago, but not now.

              I didn't know Batchelder was still fighting. Ruiz is just wasting time with these meaningless fights.

                                      Takam would be a huge step up. Ruiz vs. Dillian Whyte would be nice as a next step. Or against Chisora or David Price. Scott of course too.
