my god if thats cherry picking then damn

Floyd was fighting world champions and top fighters in his division..if these fighters are doing that then we will have a damn great year of boxing
JMM - moved up two divisions and fought Floyd for the very first time in that weight class. No tune up fights--- and Floyd didn't even make weight.

Mosley - He was 39 years old...

      Cotto - Good job.

Canelo - Only issue with this fight is:
      a) Age [still not too big of a deal]
      b) Catchweight

Pacquiao - KO'd already. Out of his prime. Probably would have lost regardless, but a Pacquiao @ 140 pounds 5 years ago is a tough fight for anyone, including Floyd.

Maidana - First fight was great. 2nd fight was lame and the officiating ******.

Cherry picking has taken place long before Floyd and will continue long after his career.

Marquez was coming into fights at the welterweight limit for years! People really need to start paying attention to the 30 day weigh ins

Mosley had been ducking Mayweather for years. When they asked Mosely if he would fight Mayweather next Mosley said he couldn't because he had a dentist appointment. After his fight with Brusels, Mayweather told De La Hoya and Mosley he'd go to 147 to fight them and neither one wanted it at the time. Even Lampley and Roy Jones were saying De La Hoya and Mosley shouldn't take the fight because they have nothing to gain and almost everything to lose. He fought Mosley when Mosley was coming off the destruction of Margarito. Mosley tried to get a fight with Pacquiao at that time and Roach turned it down. Pacquiao and Canelo fought Mosley after Mayweather

Canelo proposed the 152 CW, Floyd agreed and Oscar said 152 is good for Canelo because he'll be lighter on his feet.

Pacquiao was out of his prime but an older Mayweather wasn't? People like to say Floyd takes less damage than Pacquiao. Those same people never seen Floyd before he fought Oscar. He's been fighting his whole life. He dropped out of school at 16 to focus strictly on fighting. His body has taken a lot of damage. And it's crazy that people call Pacquiao washed up but he's still ranked in the top 5 p4p. And he's still picked to beat the top LWW and WW fighters. Everytime Pacquiao was asked if he would fight Mayweather, Pacquiao would say it's up to my promoter but Roach said years ago that Manny picks his opponents not Bob. Bob has even said that. Pacquiao didn't start pursuing the fight until his options were none. Arum was trying to sell us a Pacquiao v. Vargas fight. Pacquiao had come off fighting Rios and Algieri. Pacquiao didn't take the fight until he had nobody else to fight

                Yeah that's cherry picking

bring up jmm divisions then miss weight
wait years to fight pacquaio after he gets ktfo and people are begging him to retire
                ancient mosely
                etc

maidana is probably the toughest fight on that list because he was actually at a good time in his career (and coincidentally he nearly won)
Maidana was a cherry pick gone wrong. On paper, he should've been an easy win, but Team Featherfist miscalculated Marcos' awkwardness and it nearly cost them the fight despite the further cherry picking of gloves. Can't forget glovegate. P4P the most concentrated cherry juice picker in boxing history.

Cotto Fights him after he had gotten two career changing beatings, one From Margarito, another from Pacquiao.=cherry pick

                  Canelo: catchweight 152. lol=cherry pick
Pacquiao: Fight finally gets made after Pac gets brutally KTFO. lol
Maidana: Known for his power, so floyd changed his gloves on the first fight, and then changed his gloves on the rematch along and got himself a ref that doesn't inside fighting. Power was gone, his only strength of fighting on the inside was gone too=cherry pick

It's about who and when you fight, there's so many belts given, and even made especially for fighters, it doesn't matter, it's fake and not what once ment.

                  Fixed it for ya
