I think Algieri should ideally get in two more "learning" fights with John David Jackson then go for the bigger names.

He still has some rough edges to polish off and that won't get done with just one more training camp (in my opinion.)

I can buy that Algieri still learning what kind of boxer he's going to be under JDJ and Berto isn't the type of guy you want to fight unless you're fully prepared to beat him up so bad that you'll get a much higher profile fight against someone that will in turn beat you up just as bad, these are the kind of levels you have to have planned out if you want to be an-out-of-the-cage fighter. _Chess Moves_
