Ortiz is good but it's hard to support him because of the positive test, kind of takes away from everything anytime you have a positive result even if you bounce back clean later on.

he should have received an exemption after getting caught. then everything would be alright

Seriously this guy. Ever since losing a brave effort to Klitschko he's been parading as if he won the damn fight.

It Is strange to see people taking jabs at Jennings. He fought a hell of a fight, showed a good chin, proved that he was a true sportsman, showed class In defeat and was HONEST In the post fight Interview. What more could be asked of any fighter.

He did well and was having success in the 7th until he got reckless and let Ortiz unload on him. It's hard for people on here to identify with a fighter who speaks English properly and doesn't complain or make excuses.

Ortiz sits at number one spot of the who needs him club, and I see him being avoided for as long as anyone can hold out. This year, I couldn't bet against him vs any of the current crop.

Still not entirely sold on Ortiz's conditioning but then again he'll wipe virtually all the HWs out before conditioning can become a factor.
He is the real deal its just a pity he wasn't a bit younger. Its what I mean I say the HW division is awful that is probably the first real big man I've seen take a subtle half step back to create room for the uppercut (and without hitting themselves with it) since maybe as far back as Bowe. Its exactly what these big men should be doing against smaller aggressors that lean in instead of hugging them too death.

He is an impressive specimen. Looks real light on his feet to for such a lump.

I was also impressed with Jennings not just his grit and humbleness but I felt his technique looked a lot better than it has previously. He was using his hips and turning his punches over for once. He made a fan out of me last night.
Few more fights under JDJ, he can come again.

I really thought both guys fought impressive fights and came away thinking highly of both.

Especially Ortiz, of course. Been a long time since I've seen a heavyweight utilize actual boxing skill that way. It was such a breath of fresh air.

I highly doubt that. He wasn't as skilled at range as Ortiz and had his best success when he was up close.
