He doesn't have any heavyweight greats that he beat but the wording of the last option is just nonsense. Povetkin or Byrd is my pick and imo Povetkin would be comparable to like a Jerry Quarry in the seventies. Not great but really high quality. It looked terrible and the ref let Wlad get away with anything but the fact that Povetkin couldn't find a way to do anything anyway considering how good and groomed to be a champ he was, with his pedigree.

And Byrd not winning one round in two fights is something that I actually don't think that many guys could accomplish against the same two versions of Byrd, no matter what the size difference would be. Byrd's another just shy of great type of fighter. So, I'd take either of them.

Dark horse shout for Pulev, considering the performance, Wlad getting up there, the devastation of the KO and being I *think* the first time since Ali a champ has defended as many as only two times against the universally regarded top contender (thanks boxing politics).

I always found Peter a hugely overrated hype train. Note that after his first loss, he was quickly matched with an old Audley Harrison opponent (who Audley KO'd in two) to restore his rep as a "feared puncher".

Chris Byrd? David Haye? Povetkin? Anyone else?
No great wins....Wlad's a fraud who only fought mediocre opponents

he has no real great wins. byrd was just ok. i mean the guy was easily beaten by oquendo and golota. tough fighter but far from elite. povetkin is a good win but obviously he shold have been dq'd in that one. 187 clinches come on now. thats like 3 times more than akinwadade. chagaev? one of the most average fighters ever. i'm gonna go with alex leapai

The general nut bag synopsis on the Samuel PEter issue goes something like this...

"His seemingly huge power DROPPED as soon as he faced top competition."

This is a no-brainer anyway because OF COURSE anybody's power seems to drop against better competition!

But it totally side steps the fact that the nut bags OWN heroes for punching power, like Geroge Foreman and Earnie Shavers drop EVEN FURTHER!

In fact Shavers is ONLY a power puncher when we view it against cruisers and bums which dominated his era mainly. When you analyse his performance against decent quality REAL HW opponents, he isn't even a really big puncher!

And Foreman, all these whacking around guys left and right.. You guessed it, bums and cruisers...

The Old Time Nut Bags like to bash fighters like Peter's power which was achieved by good quality SHW's whilst they DEFEND their own heroes power who achieved their own records against guys that PETER WOULDN'T EVEN BE ALLOWED TO KNOCK OUT!

What do you think would happen if THIS guy...

lined up all the cruisery mollusc-bodied bums on Foreman, Ali and Frazier's resume's???

He would, mostly in the first round, knock every single one of them straight out!

You know it Anorak! Don't pretend like you don't!

Wladimir Klitschko dominated a whole decade or more's worth of opponents who would have mostly in turn totally dominated nearly all other eras of boxing.

His resume is far and beyond anything any other HW has ever achieved, set apart somewhat from Lewis and Vitali's and far FAR beyond anything else in history!

Furthermore, Wladimir's WORST opponents, like Mormeck and Leapai would have been the undisputed HW champions in any era pre-80's.

Wladimir Klitschko's worst opponents > Top opponents on nearly every other boxers resume.

                These are simply the facts!

David Haye was the cleanest win. It was a hyped up fight, very anticipated, a top 3 fight among boxing fans, alongside Mayweather vs Pacquiao and Gamboa vs JuanMa. And the only one of the 3 that actually happened at the height of their fanboys wanting it. Haye was given a big shot to win, he was a very live opponent. It was a big fight and good win.

Haye admittedly probably just for me personally. He talked so much **** and turned into a b*tch so fast it was poetically funny.
