GGG for me. Fury obviously has win of the year, but take into consideration he was winning over an ageing past-prime champ, and that the fight itself was poor in quality. Golovkin had another magnificent year, allround.

AND he's a quality character, inside and outside the ring.

Floyd and Fury should be the only candidates....can't go wrong with either choice...NOBODY else has bigger wins this year...NOBODY!!!!

Tyson Fury, he not just won, but he did it in style, in the biggest upset of the decade against one of the best 10 heavyweights of all times.

Has to be Mayweather. Record 4 million ppv, beats his rival Pacquiao and closed his career as an undefeated fighter.

Hate should not blind people from the facts. Mayweather was one of a kind, the best of his era and it will be a while before we see a guy like him again. No doubt he's fighter of the year.

From the United Kingdom, and the new unified heavyweight champion of the world, Tyson Fury.

For winning a fight he was supposed to win against an injured opponent who had been KTFO a couple of fights previously? Or for kicking Berto's arse?

Fury was a 5-1 outsider against a man many considered top 3 p4p and who had barely lost a round in 12 years, and comfortably defeated him.

The rest of your post is irrelevant, this is for fighter of the year.

even the 2015 version of pacquiao is a vastly superior fighter to klitschko though

Klitschko still beats anyone in the division not named Tyson Fury.

Fat Dan Rafael had Klitschko the p4p #1 before the Fury fight. #justsaying
