Not interested, but lets debate the topic instead. In the traditional sense, Golovkin never became the true WBA champion until Daniel Geale refused to face in him late 2012, opting instead to take a big money rematch with Mundine. Furthermore, while Golovkin is considered the top MW in the world, he's still not the MW champion as JMW's have stole that title and seemingly refuse to defend the title against actual MW's. Fun-fact - Bernard Hopkins counts his '98 NC to Robert Allen as one of his 20 title defenses.

If you're objective is to try and put Jacobs on level with Golovkin (funny indeed), let's look at how the two have behaved as WBA Regular Champions:

Golovkin picked up his WBA title while Sturm was inactive and out of the ring for over a year while fighting Universum (same time as Golovkin). Golovkin then pressed the WBA for fights with both the Super Champion - Sturm and the interim Champion - N'Dam. Sturm paid the WBA a step-aside fees & N'Dam vacated the title and left for the WBO.

Jacobs avoided negotiation with interim champion -Dmitry Chudinov (reported by Bscene) and says he needs the fight with the Super Champion - Golovkin to be for the right money.

on a related note, does it annoy anyone else that the boxrec champions table lists the WBA regular champion rather than the super champion?

Both are champions as the WBA crowns two champs per weight class.

they use that "defenses" thing to pump up his average azz resume...make him seem like a monster

He didn't even beat the champion for the belt.

Oh yea.....Hopkins holds no middleweight record for defenses. Carlos Monzon does with 14....Hopkins only defended the title 6 times as lineal and undefeated champion.

At this point, the belts don't even matter especially at 160 because the best haven't fought each other yet

the WBA champion is and will be the winner of Jacobs vs GGG.....If he cant get the other guys in the ring, GGG could rid us of a regular champion and super one at the same time

GGG's super belt was a gift for knocking out Euro bums with the WBA regular belt.....he didn't beat anyone for the title so how much more does his even mean than jacobs'?

Canelo is the champion at the moment so at the time the WBC title is the only one that matters the other guys are just trinket holders until they face him.....GGG's fans and everyone elses has to face the music....you win championships in the ring, not message boards.

GGG has been given a belt....let him earn everything else like everyone else

Golovkin is the real WBA champion he cleared it up if you look at his resume. He was the interim , regular and now the super champion plus he has the IBF He's held all 3 versions for over 5 years. Jacobs was handed that regular title he vacated when Geale got stripped for fighting Anthony Mundine as he wanted to milk his reign which the WBA upgraded Golovkin to super champion over time. Golovkin caught up with Geale last year and took him out.
