Possible Porter Thurman update

If true it's just another one of the myriad ways in which the Haymon A-sides get preferential treatment. So Thurman is told exactly what's going on, while the Porters are left to wonder about if they're getting the fight etc. Basically giving Thurman a chance to know exactly what he's preparing for, in hopes of getting a leg up. PBC is a disgrace

Lol I don't buy it. Decide on a new date, tell one side to stay quiet, and for some reason they do. Don't tell the other party involved and keep them spouting off and wondering.

So the grand scheme here was to make Thurman look like a reluctant pu$$y and make the porters look impatient.

Yea I'm not reaching the same conclusions it seems you are reaching based on other posts I see, but the logic by this leaker doesn't ring true to me either. I actually still feel this fight is on & has been on, but why the eff don't you share that fact with the Porter's a lil better or at least get on the phone & ***** them out for being knuckleheads in public by causing all this stir for a fight they are even seemingly saying is still going to happen last I heard from their own mouths.

Bottom line for me is something is clearly funny with this situation/fight, but as with many things PBC I got no f#cking clue what it is or what they are thinking or what their strategy is with the road they have taken.

Unfortunately I think with the MAA & how PBC must operate between Haymon, promoters & fighters I think too much is happening under cover of darkness that leads to rumors & misconceptions winning the day too often when with TR or GBP, Bob or Oscar just need to make one call to Rafael or Iole & a angle thats being pushed gets killed in an hour. With PBC, Haymon gots the master plan, but can't or won't share it with all parties & promoters got lil to no clue what is is & seemingly certain fighters may or may not know what they got going on next.

Idk tbqh, but I'm a fan of PBC while not really loving how its day to day operations seem to work sometimes right now. Maybe the thing is with a elite fighter league, like PBC is seemingly attempting to become at some future date, fights just magically get announced like they do now with PBC. And just like they do in the UFC or how schedules just get announced at the beginning of the NBA or NFL season so I guess to some degree we as fans will have to get used to fights not being in limbo quite as much as they have been. A fight isn't on or its on, no more limbo or open talks stage. All the discussions & **** is happening behind the scenes & there will be no catchweight or venue or % cuts in public like has been going on in this era & the fighter just gets the news he'll be fighting Mar. 4 in NYC hours or days before it gets put out by the media.

What updates? They've been told to get ready for Thurman, when it's official, they will know. Thurman and Porter both know they are getting ready for eachother, it's not like one knows his opponent and the other doesn't...
