Wonder what Jay Z was thinking when people were booing Rigo at the Canelo vs Cotto fight.

Roc Nation signs two prospects today. Top 140lb prospect, Maurice Hooker, 19-0-2 (14) & HW Ed Latimore, 10-0 (6).

      http://******.craveonline.com/news/3...g-for-survival

Skills and mindset content to help you realize your potential, let go of resentment, and live life with purpose.

(Latimore is a writer, some solid **** on his blog)

The 2nd step to quitting ****. Solid advice.
Don’t Touch Your ****. Except for necessary functions. There are only 3 times a man has to touch his piece: Cleaning, urinating, and jerking off. You have to do the first two and in theory you should be able to do the last one without ****. Our goal isn’t to have you live a life of celibacy where you don’t even get yourself off. We’re just trying to get you off needing **** to do it. Men have been polishing the pole for hundreds of years without the aid of ****. Modern man has gotten to a point where not only does he have to watch **** to jerk off, sometimes hes not even in the mood to jerk off but after watching some ****, he ends up rubbing one out. It’s created a weird pavlovian effect where touching your piece outside of showering or pissing makes you want to watch ****. Lay off of touching your **** as much as possible for non essential functions. This will also have the side effect of making actual sex even better.

He's a new player in the game. He can't land the big names. The way to prove himself is to show that he can build and promote the guys that nobody wants.

High caliber guys, yes...but also guys who (1) were not fan-friendly and difficult to promote, and therefore few promoters were interested, or (2) had unrealistically high financial expectations, and therefore few promoters were interested, or (3) both.

In other words, not to difficult to sign guys who had very little interest from other promoters.

Well its not really a shocking thing to say that most promoters aren't the most creative thinkers so I'm not surprised promoters couldn't find anything to do with these 3 guys. Thing is RN has solid group of prospects & their first two big names had or have big fights lined up. Cotto was in the 2nd biggest PPV fight of the year & just the 2nd biggest fight of the year I guess too & the first big PPV NOT involving Manny or Floyd in about a decade I believe. Ward is being lined up to fight a P4P rival, Kovalev, in the next 6-12 months which I feel is gonna get some attention when it starts getting closer & we got dates. Rigo just signed with RN a month ago or w/e, but based on the moves made with the first two big names I think we will see Rigo doing something finally after a career lapse since the Donaire fight basically.

Any idea why they dropped Javier Flores? I can't find any press on it, and it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. You would think that they need as many fighters as possible right now to make there cards since they don't have many working relationships in the business yet.

                -Dustin Fleischer, 26yrs, 140lbs, 5-0 (5)
They also co-promote Zhilei Zhang and Zhimin Wang with Dynasty Boxing. I'd be willing to bet that by the middle of 2016, we start to hear talk of RNS and Dynasty merging. Dynasty only has four fighters on their roster, but Dino Duva has his foot in the door on the up and coming Chinese boxing market.

He did lose his first fight with them. Mighta got dropped for that. I don't think I'd necessarily be ultra hyped to keep a nearly 30 year old prospect who just took his first L on my roster either. Granted its a very forgivable L (guy is 4-1-1 vs undefeated opponents), but maybe they didn't realize that or maybe they don't care.

Those are some big names that allowed them to make a mark and get some attention. It's seed money investment. They weren't likely banking on those guys making big bank, but on using their names and recognition factor to make some headlines and tell everyone out there that they intend to be players.

The thing I most question is whether they're building any sort of promotional infrastructure to be viable.

How many cards has Roc Nation actually promoted?
