Bernard is an ATG but nothing suggests he took more risks.

He fought an absolute nobody at 154 and looked terrible.

He actually took less. Rate his top 5 wins. At least three of them, probably four were against guys moving up.

And at the time of the fight, I thought Hopkins might be past it, to answer the question.

            And he was the underdog.
We disagree about where we put Floyd, RJJ, and B Hop but I think they trippin about B Hop cherry picking! Pavalick was not a cherry pick. He was a beast at the time and undefeated. Winky was because he had already fell off and when they fought he was coming off a long lay off. But B Hop career is not a cherry pick. Any fighter fighting through out their late 30s and well into their 40's isn't acherry pick. Any fight in your 40's is a risk! B Hop is a beast and ATG I just don't put him above Floyd

oscar, roy, manny, tyson all gave boxing fans greater memorable fights than floyd.

                what's floyd's most memorable fight?

how many great fights has floyd given the fans who paid ppv? even his pacquiao win, he won but he really didnt do much. he didnt do anything memorable in that fight.

they all were boring stale fights devoid of action and drama. but hey at least his 24/7 and all access shows were legendary.
He had many! I mean it's 49 fights. I think you just judging the back end of his career. When Floyd was young in the beginning of his career Floyd was a killer! He was way more offensive, but when you move up in weight and fought bigger champs you have to adjust! To me boxing entertainment isn't always about blood and guts. Sometimes you have to look at skills which of you do all you can do is sit back and say wow. But you have to be a student of the sport and not just a fan. Once you do that you can appreciate every style and you can recognize what type looking at

It is sad to see, and happens way to much.

I rate based on prime, for the most part.

There are exceptions; I got in a debate with a friend about whether Tyson or Ali was greater (to me it is obvious). One of my arguments in favor of Ali was his longevity.

Also, during his good years, he lost 2 fights, and avenged both twice (the Frazier fight was coming off his exile, and in the Norton fight he suffered a broken jaw. He beat both guys twice in rematches.)

My friend tried to argue that prime Tyson would have beat Ali. I stated Tyson would have needed a knockout to possibly win against Ali, and was taken the distance by the like of James Tillis, among others.

I don't mind the argument that Floyd is ahead of Roy (and/or Hopkins), but I just don't see things that way.

I wish Roy would stop fighting. But, he achieved more, in my opinion.
                  achieved more how??

                  Less world titles
                  Less lineal titles
less hall of famers on his resume
                  less wins in title fights
                  less divisional titles

more title defenses 18 to roys 17

so how did he achieve more?

And he tries to throw out "primed elite" welterweight because guys like Manny and Mosley were past their physical primes. Totally disregarding that Floyd was as well. Then he tries to **** on guys like JMM and Hatton, P4P guys who moved up to fight Floyd. But the reality is Floyd and Hatton are roughly the same age and turned pro at roughly the same time. And in the years that proceeded their welterweight clash. Hatton fought exclusively at 140, while Floyd came all the wsy from from 130 to eventually get Hatton at 47. So unless Floyd hit puberty at 30, there's not a lotta size difference there. And he'll **** on JMM who did quite well at 47 against a guy he claims is better than Floyd. Not to mention he completely ****s on Baldomir who was the lineal champ. Ironically, the lineal title meant nothing when Floyd fought Baldomir. But now means everything when they wanna see GGG fight a jr middleweight. Dude's a f.uck ret@rd and only comuc relief when I'm really bored.

Poor little guy hahahaha you are struggling and reaching but fell short face first in a pile of ****!

                      Jrs legacy is written !

                      It cannot be reversed!

He will go down as Aduckus da chicken that ducked prime elites like Margo that is on video.

People that are not duped like you and many others know what and how jr made his legacy.

They know he waited like a vulture on a fighter to falter when he was vulnerable and took advantage of the man BUT never did he fight an undefeated mature prime elite to prove himself !!! He went to the bone yard !!! He barely got by an old ODH on the cards but in reality was beaten when he should have won easily. TBE sc****d by a c rated boxer named Maidana. Hatton and JMM had no business at WW with JMM having never gone above 130 and Hatton looking terrible at WW!

Truth is yall can't take the truth so go ahead and live in yer lies! You make a fool outa yo self every time you open yo mouth Mang hahahaha

Yer Rollin in the dribble Mang and you may kiss where the sun never shines hahahahaha
