I picked Imam to win but told people Granados is a monster, people thought I was just saying that to big up Imam if he wins...

Granados is yet to clearly lose a fight and he's fought guys like Felix Diaz, Gomez and Solomon, plus he's only 25. He hasn't had the luxury of cherry picking and slowly building his career, he's had to fight whoever they've offered him.

I think he can definitely become a champ, when I look at the current crop at 140, I think this boy beats Herrera, Benavidez, Broner etc and gives Crawford all he could handle. He's a very hard fighter to beat, he's absolutely relentless and has decent skill and size.

How did anyone miss the fact that he has the defensive prowess of a statue????? Some Russian contender recently that has gotten people high on him has even worse defense if you can imagine that. I will never be sold on a fighter that simply cannot block a punch.
Amir has one loss, and he didn't cry about it. He can learn how to duck. Too many people give up on fighters after their first loss. That's where the zero worship starts.

I like how Crawford gets credit for a fight he never took while playing it safe with Jean.

Nothing against Crawford but boxing fans need to stop this, we hear this kind of flawed logic all the time and it's b/s because it only takes one punch in this sport.

Unless they fight we never know the result and they damn sure don't deserve credit unless they get in the ring.

As long as fans continue to give fighters credit for other boxers work, we'll never see the match-ups we want to see when we want to see them.

exactly fights are fought in the ring not through triangle theories.

Imam needed this. There are signs in a loss that say more than any win. The way he lost and what he does about it are important. The world didn't end and Imam still has to eat. He's not the young master anymore, but he doesn't have to give up. He didn't lose on skill, he lost on will, and those losses start in the gym and training habits.

I'd like to see him fight a big name at 147 next.

He looked drained those last couple days before the Imam fight.
