Have you read one quote from GYM or Stevenson confirming that they have any interest in fighting on HBO? Not only is HBO PBC's main rival, but Stevenson has fought on SHO or PBC since 2014. He's not contracted to SHO or PBC, but he is contracted to Haymon, who runs PBC in direct competition vs. HBO.

I'm not being naïve. Of course, we'll have to wait and see. But some of you guys come on here bitching & moaning about every word that is said. No optimism, just negative garbage. It's in the best interest of Kovalev & Stevenson to face each other at this point. Both have established themselves enough, & anticipation for this fight is steadily building. Given the potential money to be made on this fight, why wouldn't their people make it happen? Showtime, HBO, Arum, Haymon, Moonves, Hershman & others made Mayweather vs Pacquiao happen. This fight is guaranteed to be more entertaining than that one. I'm optimistic & hopeful that the powers that be will make it happen. This particular article doesn't give me a reason to believe otherwise.

I see no one thinking Haymon could make the fight with his own PBC structure... I do ...

Filling up Bell Center (22,000 +) and adding World Wide PPV revenue for that fight would be easy an appealing for all the parties involved and would let HBO with no choice but to show the money or pass.... again... Kovalev will never drag the same $$$ on his own, and HBO is aware of that...

He didn't lose the purse bid because they avoided the purse bid that they called for... It's not that hard, once in your life don't argue about rubbish. It's in black and white, no need for excuses or to defend rubbish... Now you are claiming Michel called for the purse bid, before you claimed duva avoid the purse bid because she didn't think they would beat Haymon due to HBO not backing them. This is why trying to defend rubbish makes you look ******, I hope if the fight ever happens Kovalev destroys that bastard... But you know what? Am not going to back something that isn't true. Duva herself told the world that they called for a purse bid but had to avoid it due to Haymon/HBO budget.

That alone would give you an idea who really wants the fight. It's not rocket science. Don't even know why there are people defending Stevenson.
