'Fury was almost knocked out in the 12th'

Wlad landed two good shots and Fury was momentarily hurt but Wlad could not follow up and Fury recovered relatively quickly.
Though I never saw anyone post that he was almost knocked out, it doesn't surprise me that some posters have said this.Comment

It's just typical deluded Klitschko fans trying to find something to pin their hopes on after their man got utterly schooled for eleven straight rounds. Wlad had his best round in the twelfth, there's no denying that, but he didn't come close to stopping Fury and found himself getting roughed up more than in any other round in the fight barring perhaps the ninth. He did land a peach of a left hook at about the one minute thirty mark that looked like it buckled Fury's legs a second, but Fury came straight back a moment later the way he's done countless times in the past. He also caught him with a few decent partially rolled rights earlier on and an uppercut hook near the end of the round but none of those punches came close to hurting Fury. It's cool that this one round is drumming up interest in a rematch since, if this is the general public perception, it'll help improve the odds on a Fury repeat victory, but if I was a Wlad fan I'd be sceptical in drawing any major conclusions from it.Comment

My prediction for the rematch - without the aid of a crystal ball - is that Wlad will come out determined to ignore Fury's feints and press forward throwing punches. He will then find himself eating jabs at long range and getting tagged by uppercuts if he tries to fight on the inside instead of holding.
After 4/5 rounds of this, Wlad will probably revert back to type and lose on points again. If he doesn't, he will be stopped, maybe pulled out by his corner with his face looking like Chisora's after going 10 rounds with this version of Tyson Fury.Comment

Wlad landed a couple of shots in the last few seconds and Fury was tired.
Wasn't really anything.Comment

Weltschmerz after the rematch: "8 times out of 10, Wlad beats Fury. He just had another bad night. Must be the luck of the Irish"Comment
