and about moving up or down, i think you got the wrong guy... i dont see anything wrong if ggg moves down to 154, i actually believe both ggg and canelo will find better opposition at 154 than at 160, after they fight each other...
I am just tired of the ******ed debate where "moving up" is the end-all, be-all. Every fighters biology is different, and theres a big difference between guys who turned pro in their teens vs guys who turned pro in their mid 20s. But all we hear is "didnt move up doe", as if that means anything absent the proper context. The clown Broner moved up 3 times, and the only top 5 fighter he beat in ANY division was Demarco. Should that get more respect than a fighter who has dominated a single division?Last edited by OnePunch; 12-15-2015, 07:40 PM.

Canelo has fought much better competition and again you keep ignoring that not only has he gone up in weight canelo went down in weight to fight floyd. GGG can do the same to get better fights. Instead he stayed in his little bubble at 160 for a decade fighting mediocre competition. How is that not a fair criticism of GGG?
So please enlighten me as to what significant fight GGG could realistically moved down for?

Mayweather-Pacquiao have everyone a blueprint on how to slowly build fights and make the most money.
Everybody is using that as an example to let fights marinate. And we can't be mad at that because it's boxing fans fault that fight was a mega hit despite being 6 years late.

If GGG agrees to 155 you know damn well canelo fights him. Cotto? I agree and I have killed Cotto because it's clear he was never fighting him period. But Lara would fight him at 155 and I'm sure many other names at 154 would. And I'm sure many guys at 168 would of fought him. Again some of the reason he hasn't faced any big names 1. is the division was weak, 2. some guys at 160 ducked him but the 3rd reason is he refused to move up or down in weight. You want to act like him staying put while bigger names were at 154 and 168 is not a factor at all
And unless you are Canelo himself, you dont know he would fight ggg at 155 right now or not. Im guessing not, or the fight would be happeneing on May 7. And Lara? Jesus christ man, why would GGG move down to fight a nobody like Lara, when the fight cant even happen because of HBO-Haymon? Do you get dumber as the day goes on or something?

To suggest Broner could have dominated those divisions is nothing but speculation
