Yeah he SAID he would. And that's the problem, Lara talks a lot to hype his own fights but he doesn't back it up.

If he really wanted that fight Haymon would just make him GGG's mandatory.

"Calling out" Golovkin after going to distance with Delvin Rodriguez, I guess that was the highlight.

He doesn't have the name recognition of a Willie Monroe or a Tureano Johnson.

        It's a shame.
How the **** did you just compare those 2??

Floyd moved up 5 damn divisions...not taking any risk??? how can you move up 5 divisions,be lineal in 4 and fighting the #1 fighter in each division and not take risks??

Lara doesn't even speak English, he doesn't run "his" twitter. It's some fat kid.

Beat me to it. Obviously, when Lara speaks on camera, it's him talking. When he "says" something on Twitter, especially concerning boxing, it's often his manager Luis DeCubas, Jr. Or, as you called him, "some fat kid."

I'm not gonna' go down that list and point out every way in which Floyd was able to mitigate the risk each of those guys posed. It has been done to death and I'm wayyy too lazy to type that much. So we'll just hafta' agree to disagree on this, friend Larry.

The only legit risk on your list there was Corrales, imo.

So sorry, the Corrales win was not enough to prove the ridiculous, fabricated, propaganda acronym he and his clans like to toss around.

Don't feel bad, though, the Klit fans are even worse and with less to back it up.

Lara embarassed two fighters who have beaten future lineal middleweight champs. Fought at least on even terms with the current lineal champ. But he's not qualified doe.

Lara couldn't beat the top men at 154. No way would he be the best name on Golovkin's resume.

The kid from Philly couldnt beat the best at 154 and he's one of the best on ggg resume...so whats your point?

Lara would still be the best name on his resume.
