Canelo... 160 lbs champ.... 155 or no fight... lol pathetic.

this **** is just fcking pathetic.

you got GGG waiting out canelo.
you got canelo waiting out GGG
you got ward waiting out GGG.

**** like this is why boxing has fallen off the mainstream and is thought of as a joke sport.

That's correct. It was pretty widely assumed that this wouldn't happen until fall 2016 - but what a lot of people wanted was for there to be an actual agreement for the fight (similar to Ward/Kov). Dan Raphael reported that there's an "agreement", but gave no details.

WBC didn't mention any real resolutions. They basically said that we'll go through the same crap in May/June. They're not saying whether or not Canelo actually agreed to fight, what CW [if any], etc.

Anyone with a brain knew WBC would go back on they world for the Mexican but why would k2 agree to this? They the ones that said they want belt doesn't care who has it, stepping aside again and doing voluntaries when all it takes is one punch to derail this so called master plan then what? K2 lets lil g down again and now with this ruling pretty much assures if lil g was going sue cotton for that step aside fee gets tossed out when he basically stepping aside again

I'm with you here, how come this is somehow different than before, so Canelo got two extensions, and now he got a pass until May lol, that some real ****.

I know K2 must have reach some step-aside, but come on, this is the same BS. I'm willing to bet that the "september fight" won't be at 160.

Like I said last time, at least this will be usefull to get off that mando for GGG.

February, could be a GGG vs Lee? or does the IBF mando has to be first? some step aside agreement for Tureano and at least collect a belt in the meantime.

until someone actually asks k2 or goldenboy then is pure speculation ...
but if true then ggg is getting screwed again and he is simply allowing it to happen...

No surprise, we all knew there'd be an interim fight and the possible showdown in September. It's the interim fights I'm most interested in hearing about right now. I'd like to see Canelo at 160 vs the winner of Lee/Saunders and Golovkin to take out Jacobs (and Johnson just to get him out of the way).

well I guess that leaves you out.

And BTW, the WBC didnt "go back on their word". They said from the beginning that the fight needed to happen next, UNLESS the parties worked out a deal, WHICH THEY DID

                      Reading is fundamental
