Comments Thread For: Coach: Klitschko Will Let Hands Go on Fury in Rematch

Johnathon Banks, head trainer of Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53KOs), says his fighter will let his hands go when he faces Tyson Fury (25-0, 18KOs) in a rematch next year.

In one of the bigger upsets in recent years, Fury traveled to Germany and won a twelve round unanimous decision over Klitschko to capture the IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight titles on November 28th.

The first thing he has got to do is break his career habit of clinching.

I feel like this rematch fight will end in KO/TKO.

It's not been a good time for Banks recently. Fury beat Wladimir with relative ease, his other guy Whyte got KTFO on Saturday.

Why does Wladimir even pay him a wage? Wlad clearly takes no notice of him.

Back on topic, if Wlad decides to let his hands go and look for a knockout, he gasses by midway through the fight and Fury knocks him out.

Indeed, you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Wladimir will probably be a bit more aggressive (he has to be) but Fury is the more skilled fighter and will just outbox him again.

Wlad has let his hands go before. He was also a champion kickboxer. He can be aggressive. yes he has certainly developed a defensive technique but he has the ability to let his hands go.

He also had Fury in big trouble in the final round after hitting him with a right. I don't think Fury has a great chin and his power is good but not great. I think Wlad can KO him.
