I don't think so. A champion fighter isn't likely to perform poorly because their opponent talked a lot of trash. Fury won because Wlad fought poorly but I doubt he performed poorly because Fury talked so much trash. Wlad is 39 and Fury is 27 and he fought a smart and very boring safety first fight. Connor ended his fight with a wicked left hand and I don't think trash talk had anything to do with it. Conner is the best because he has natural talent and he is totally dedicated to being the best possible fighter.
