Jones certainly doesn't do his legacy any favors fighting on ... Vladimir can still come back on the grand scene. People do tend to forget that he indeed was an ageing champion. No way the Vladimir of 5 yrs ago loses to Fury. Just sayin'

Better Legacy: Wladimir Klitschko or Roy Jones, Jr.?

I would pick Jones. He won with ease over many very good fighters with not even a close fight for a very long time. He never was as good after Tarver cracked his chin but up tell then he had a great record. Wlad got KOed in his prime before he developed a style that kept him undefeated and champion for many years. I don't see how anyone could think he was in his prime when Fury beat him. 39 years old is not any boxer's prime. It's very old for a boxer and most fighters retire long before age 39 or they keep fighting when they are a shell of their prime self. Hopkins is a freak exception and certainly not the rule.

Klitschko's handspeed is MUCH slower than it was, he can't get his punches off like he used to, and his footwork used to be very fast for a man his size but is plodding now.
None of those guys you mentioned before did any of that. With Wlad being a safety first kind of fighter he was hesitant to throw. I'd look slow as heck too if I was as timid as him. You couldn't really even get a good gauge on his speed in that fight because he wasn't throwing punches. Is he a spring chicken? No. But guys like yourself are trying to sell this "he was shot" crap instead of just dealing with the fact that he got beat by the better fighter on that night.
