This is so sad. Of course he's not going to retire because he's broke and is in desperately need for the money. I rather see him as a full time trainer or a boxing manager at this current stage of his life as opposed to taking all of the head trauma to his brain.

When you are looking at things from the outside, you look at things objectively. What's he's doing now is tantamount to self-harm; if you give a crap about someone's health, you'd want to see them step off a path of destruction.

Someone needs to get through to him that his life has more value than what he can and has accomplished in the ring.

Just boxrec'd RJJ. 62-9 now. Wow. If you'd have told me Roy post-Ruiz (34yrs & 48-1 at the time) would go 14-8, with 5 KO losses, over the next 12 years I'd have said you were crazy. I'd have said no way he is even boxing in 12 years probably.

I never knew the stats were 14-8 since ruiz fight. I think she should have quiet either after Ruiz fight or after first Tarver fight as it was clear his body and punch resistance could not deal with the weight gain and loss... should have called it a career!!
