      But he isn't!

" . . . tiptoeing their way around the division trying not to risk losing . . . " is a very accurate summary of his last couple of years.

Khan is with Haymon. He could have earned a shot against Mayeather by fighting Thurman, Porter, Garcia, etc, all Haymon fighters so fairly easy fights to make, or by fighting Brook.

For whatever reason he has chosen to try to get the biggest fights by not taking these challenges so has noone to blame but himself that he now relatively irrelevant at 147.
The situation that we've had here with Khan for a while now reminds me of how David Price's progression stalled and he wasn't being put in with opponents that would have taken him onward. When that happens at any level it's always indicative of the confidence that a team actually has in their fighter rather than what is said publicly.

On one level I can forgive what him and his team are doing. It's a short career and if he losses against the likes of Garcia again it's difficult to see where he goes from there. Fighting lesser opponents whilst holding his d*ck waiting for Mayweather or Pacquiao to give him a squeeze prolongs his stay in the top flight and keeps the paydays rolling in. Everyone still gets paid and taking a loss from either of those fighters is of lesser significance. His career can roll on after that.

The majority of fans patience though wore thin a long time ago. However we are a particularly fickle lot so if he makes a move now and starts to fight and beat top opposition regularly all will be forgiven and this point will be seen as a frustrating but necessary point in his progression where he relearned his craft and came back a better fighter.

      Sounds nice doesn't it?

I like to believe, but I'm not so naive as to think that the chances of this happening are anything but remote. Likelihood is he'll do what all but a tiny minority of fighters do in the top flight and continue to walk a path of safety first risk aversion. Boxing's a business after all and first and foremost you protect your product. Which is precisely the reason that Garcia has signed to fight Robert Guerrero.

Of all the close fights Khant he's had how many of those did he give a rematch? Khant burns bridges every time he opens his big mouth, that's why no-one wants to do negotiations with him. Last good win was against Maidana in 2010! And he was literally running the last couple of rounds. He talks about Floyd's legacy but at least he gave him a rematch when the fight was close!

Let's see if u can beat khan fairly , not by saying Pakistanis can't fight and getting khan to fight too emotionally.
Khan won't underestimate Garcia this time cos Garcia was a nobody at the time. This time you would be khans equal or khan might be favourite again

That's exactly what's funny about it. Easy fight, easy money. Low risk, high reward. Quit fooling yourself doe. It's not healthy. You know exactly why these father and son clowns don't want Khan.

                    What a joke.

Danny himself has said he would take the fight. It's just Angel who doesn't see the logic in chasing a guy they cleaned out in 4 rounds.

Its up to Khan to chase the fight since hes the one who got blasted out.

Khan has never chased the rematch
