1. Video proof it was a legit punch. Anyone who denies that is blind. You can argue all day whether Liston threw the fight or whatever but you can never deny the punch landed.

2. Hard to argue it wasn't something illegal.

3. I have no idea, but Margarito was busted once, and I'm not going to feel bad for him if people think he was doing that in every fight. That's the consequence of being caught cheating, your whole career is questioned.

4. Obvious dive. The "KD" punch didn't even land. Maybe it wasn't supposed to be a dive and Scott just gave up, but that dude clearly faked it.

5. It was a long count, but Dempsey should have gone back to a neutral corner.

In terms of Wilder-Scott, who cares, that was a bs fight anyway.

Margy v Cotto is a tough one as a lot of the headlines were sensationalised, proclaiming that plaster had been found inside the gloves or there slabs inside etc etc etc. But the actual report states, and this is from memory so I may be wrong, but trace amounts of substances found in plaster of paris were found in Marg's gloves. Maybe it was blown out of proportion, may be not but why were such substances in there in the first place?

Fanboy in me points to the blood on his wraps, the Mosley fight and Margs complete lack of a career after he was found out ...But still those uppercuts in the early rounds didn't help none( it's just kinda hard to see Cotto quit like that after coming through the Hell Torres unleashed on him)

Liston did get up. The fight went on. The ref than called a halt to it once he was informed his count was long & Liston should have been KO'd. Liston seemed willing & able to fight after the KD, but after the KD Liston seems in a very "actor-ish" fashion on the get up I gotta admit.


Also notable Ali is booed going into the ring lol. People love forgetting how Mayweather-like or Fury-like Ali was back in the day with all his non-fighting/running in the ring & antics outside of it that the public largely hated him for during much of his "first career" & he only became a fan favorite in his comeback after his banishment from boxing.
