Mr. Porter is right. His son has fought by far the best competition out all the top PBC welterweights in his division (That doesn't include Danny Garcia he a new face to the division) and to me Shawn Porter is kind of stuck in limbo. It's like people thought he was good but when he lost to Brook his stock fell. Then he beat Broner he his stock rose a little.

Even though he's with Al Haymon it seems like it's becoming more and more of a problem for him out of all the other PBC welterweights to get his shine and his credit. He keeps waiting for Thurman to sign off but that hasn't happened.

I guess he's playing the wait and see game. Hopefully he get's Maidana, Khan, or Thurman next. He deserves the big fights.

The problem with the porters is they dont fall into Haymons plan. Haymon wants Garcia and Broner and to a lesser extent thurman as teh stars! you were supposed to have beat brook and then fight broner and lose to raise broner stock but it didnt work out that way and now you want to fight thurman and haymon doesnt want that cause you might beat him.

I fully expect for porter to fight a nonrelveant sort of name in his next bout. (by that I mean a name that will do nothing for his career at all and all the upside will be on his opponent)

porter can't get thurman, khan, garcia, or spence? pbc normally ignores people that don't fight for the pbc but they even ignore their own guys if they don't want them messing up their plans. guys like lara and porter they try to stick on terrible cards

Exactly he was not haymons first priority and spoiled his plans with fighters he has more invested in. He was supposed to lose to broner and they thought after brook beat him that he was ripe even put in the bogus catch weight to drain him with a rehydration clause. They had to remove the clause days before the fight because fat broner was too big and was going to rehydrate too much lol haymon has no problem throwing porter to the wolves but has other guys at 147 in witness protection. It's a shame pbc won't let their guys fight the best outside the haymon stable but also won't let the best within the stable fight. A lot of mismatches and not enough of the top haymon guys fighting each other.

Id bet my last dollar Alfonso Gomez is his next opponent. Haymon doesnt want Porter to **** up Thurmans hype.

I appreciate what Haymon is trying to do and what he's doing for his fighters pockets as they are as people who risk their lives the most for entertainment are finally getting paid what they truly deserve.

However, I think it's bull**** to have Porter and Thurman not be promoted for a fight right now. There are instant perfect platforms to get that fight the hype it needs.

Some speculate that Haymon is trying to gather enough money to hold his own boxing program channel and then put the best fighters vs each other.

****ing sucks, I really wanna see Khan vs Brook. Garcia vs Broner. Thurman vs Porter and maybe even Guerrero vs Peterson

That we havent seen garcia fight broner or porter against thurman yet is illogical. Whats the point, this is a sport right? Is khan ever going to fight anybody? Al Haymon isnt "marinating" these fights hes killing them.
