Lara will fight him at MW. Otherwise, MW is horrible right now. If he wants challenges he needs to go a few lbs up or down. Fighters have done this for decades. As I said though, he has no ambition. If he wants to stay at MW, fine, but he'll have no legacy because the division is thin and it's unlikely to change before he gets old (which is only a couple years away).

Bit of a difference between Mayweather & Hopkins, one is a contender at 50, the other is 38.

Does Golovkin have the potential to still be one of the best MWs at 38 (4 years time), yes.

Its not so easy to predict who's gonna fall off quicker than age than others. I'd guess GGG gots a solid 2-3yrs left (36-37yrs) worst case.
