Will Amir Khan Use Ramadan To Duck Kell Brook AGAIN?

Are you under the impression that Khan wants to fight at any other point in the year?

That was for last year. Ramadan is followed according to the lunar calendar, and the solar and lunar calendars are different...
There is no mention of Khan saying that he won't fight Brook in that article.Comment

Please come forward with the proof, sweetheart. He did say it, sweetheart.
He was offered the Brook fight for this past June and he said he needed time to prepare for Ramadan.
He announced the laughable Algieri fight then he got a huge backlash from the public so he unannounced it
Then he announced it again and said the reason was that he needed to fight in May because he needed time to prepare for Ramadan.
Look it up. I wouldn't want to embarrass you, sweetheart.
I am 100% absolutely correct. I know what I'm talking about, so please show me this "news" your'e talking about.Comment

Were you living under a rock this summer?
Why do you think Khan-Brook didn't happen then?Comment

Relax, sweetheart. ******s don't need a "while" to "prepare" for Ramadan. You're making that up. Show me proof that Khan said that. Khan would have never said that. He probably said that he can't fight DURING Ramadan, but he has never said that he needs time to "prepare" for Ramadan. That's ridiculous.
British superstar Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) is still on course to return at the end of May, but indicates to BoxingScene.com that Chris Algieri (20-1-1, 8KOs) has not been finalized as the opponent. Khan released a video several days ago where he named Algieri as the likely candidate to face him at the end of the May. That fight is still being discussed, but no deal has been finalized. He had hoped to land a fight with WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto. That possibility fell through when Cotto scheduled June 6th as his return date. Khan is planning to return at the end of May in order to properly prepare for the start of Ramadan, on June 17th. According to Khan, he will need at least two weeks to prepare for Ramadan, and plans to start those preparations immediately following his May return.
"I can't fight in June because of Ramadan. I can't fight and then go straight into Ramadan. I need a couple of week to prepare for Ramadan."
Sorry to embarrass you cupcake but you should have done a little more research on your man and his pathetic excuses.Last edited by Dirk Diggler UK; 12-11-2015, 12:17 AM.Comment

Dude, like I said: Khan NEVER EVER SAID that he won't fight Brook right before Ramadan.
Basically: Khan cannot train or fight during Ramadan. He can BEGIN TRAINING A MONTH AFTER RAMADAN IS OVER. AND HE CAN DEFINITELY FIGHT EVEN A DAY BEFORE RAMADAN BEGINS.
KHAN HAS NEVER SAID THAT HE WON'T FIGHT KELLY 2 DAYS PRIOR TO RAMADAN. THAT'S RIDICULOUS.Comment

I have no idea why he said that. It doesn't make any sense. You'll have to ask him that, but he wasn't talking about Brook. He was talking about Cotto.http://www.boxingscene.com/khan-algi...-weight--89368
