Actually thanks for the reply, but we are both smoking crack. I just realiZed that even though Oscar has never liked Floyd even though he still pretends too, but it was classic Thomas Huaser, the HBO consulting dork affiliate and main member of the BWAA, were the ones that gave it to Pac, the same shıt affiliated goons hating on Floyd his whole life even though Lampley was arrested for hitting on a ***** domestically. Lol
Classic dirty politics. As time passes and new generation fans lurk into boxing they will all watch the tapes forever on YouTube and see Floyds mastery va Pac hitting the canvas gracefully 3 times by KO. Smiling sigh
Like many fighters, Hauser gets a bad rap for doing what makes sense for him. And having been in the game so long, there are things he likes and doesn't like and not all of it is great. Is there a media bias against Floyd? Without question. Some racism too which is to be expected. But really, Floyd has overcome it. Fighter of the Decade or not, he is considered the greatest fighter of his generation. Made the most money too. And despite the supplications and fasts for him to lose, somehow that never happened either
I see it that way too. People like to rewrite history.
Take Maidana, I like Chino but hey he got soundly beat by Alexander, a guy who lost every time he stepped up in class. So when Chino gives FM a tough fight, its not "hey maybe FM is overrated", it's "who knew Chino was an elite fighter"lol
Nah not like that at all. It's a decent win. Nothing outstanding. And probably would've been more one-sided if both were at similar stages of their career.
The thing is Floyd had to go to 154 for the first time to make the fight! Oscar was huge but Floyd had to take a risk to cross over as well as Pac! GGG doesn't want to take the risk! All he had to do was move up, beat Ward and come down! Just like what Ward is trying to do by moving upto face Krusher so he can cross over! GGG has taken no risk! I wouldn't mind him fighting Lara who would still B his best win!
Look how muj money Floyd made with Oscar. That is the equivalent to GGG fighting Floyd! Ward is his biggest challenge but there is no money there and beating Ward only gives him respect to knowledgable fans. He needs that cross over fight to become a PPV star Ward isn't it

Yeah but just because Ward isn't a big fight doesn't mean GGG shouldn't take the fight. And it's big enough.
Every great fighter has to test himself. Before Mayweather fought Oscar, he had already taken on guys like Corralea and Castillo, the latter a prime eliter fighter one division above who wasn't a moneymaker. Pacquiao did it before Oscar. On and on. Yes, for himself and his family GGG needs a big money fight. Us boxing fans need him to prove himself before we dole out accolades and money.

I respect your opinion, but I slightly disagree. I think that GGG actually in the same boat as Ward! Both need that star to come out as superstars! I think if promoted correctly that fight is bigger than people expect! It does at least what Canelo vs Cotto did if not better because now you bring in a larger portion of the black community and white community, because the Hispanic community always going to hold it down. Now they can make it in 2017 which I think GGG will be at 168 and if Ward beats Krusher it turns into a super fight! GGG is going to have to take some risk though to elevate himself! I don't care if he had to go down to 155 to face Canelo! If he beats him it all pays off! His management team needs to swallow their pride!!

I didn't bother reading the rest but the first part makes sence. I never se it that way. And teddy p posted saying mayweather had already tested himself at a young age which he did. So I agree GGG needs that step up test yourself fight ASAP
Thats a strange comment everybody that was great took something from all before them , Floyd broke every record Oscar ever made and one day somebody will break Floyds records , nobody is first and nobody will be last its a revolving door where the next great one will walk through like those before him .
I dont get the BS hate for Mayweather , at least hate with some logic as hate on its own makes you look like a ****** .
