So in the wake of Nicholas Walters losing his WBA featherweight title on the scales last Saturday before facing Miguel Marriaga (who Walters out-pointed at the Theater of Madison Square Garden), is there any chance that the highly anticipated clash between he and WBO featherweight titlist, Vasyl Lomachenko, still takes place in the fall?
"For what?" scoffed Egis Klimas, the manager for Lomachenko.
He's not ducking. He's just sitting there in the FW division with his thumb up his ass with no one of significance to fight because the best fighters in the division are with Haymon. He won't move up to fight Walters. He won't meet Rigo at a catchweight. I don't recall his manager saying they'll never fight Walters but it wouldn't surprise me because his manager is Egis Klimas.

Lomachenko's management goes out of their way to make him look like a pussy. Happened with Rigo, so I wouldn't take whatever they say too seriously. His fans eat the dog**** they put out tho, but they have a bad track record.
