An attorneys perspective is not relevant here.
This is NOT a court of law.
THIS, is the sport/business of boxing.
Common-sense is much more relevant, and should never be ignored in favor of "rules"..... especially when those "rules" are only officiated by 1/4 of the current major sanctioning organisations.
The IBF stripping Fury within a week of him winning their version of the heavyweight title is absurd..... if ever a case for a step-aside fee existed, that time is now.
Some common-sense would not go astray.
The IBF look pretty ****** for vehemently insisting that their guy Glazkov should be ranked higher than Fury/Klitschko/Wilder/Povetkin.
Whenever the various ABC organisations go out-on-a-limb for "their guy", and "their guy" is clearly NOT the best in the division..... it makes them look second-rate imo.
Congratulations IBF. for thinking that a Glazkov/Fury bout should be ranked higher than a legendary champion exercising his common-place contractual right to avenge what was a HUGE upset.
