AllBoxingAD that's just silly. Do you think Tyson could negotiate better rematch terms as champion or challenger? His handlers likely left millions on the table by giving rematch options

Or cut the IBF a fair chunk of the profits from the rematch. That said, the IBF are known to rigidly enforce their rules re. mandatories.

It's a damn shame, and something I have feared for a long time - the passing of belts and self-proclaimed champions.

Fury is the champion of the HW division; not Wilder, not Glaskov or Martin.

Main Events never gave Fury's team a chance to work anything out. Main Events refused to negotiate and called an immediate purse bid.

These 2 should be fighting for an eliminator....to fight winner of the crappy Fury-Klit rematch.

He's negotiated fights with tons of promoters; just not the HBO promoters (TR/GB/K2/ME).

largely because the HBO promoters never actually try to fairly negotiate anything.

Put it on the Wilder undercard.

What if Team Klitschko said 'You either accept this rematch clause or I drop this piece of **** WBO title and you can fight a nobody for no money and no respect'.

Dont believe Duva when she prentends that Team Fury held all the cards just because he is a mando.
