The fights coming. Thurman has no say over his career, just another puppet like Porter is. I can post numerous links to video footage of Thurman saying he is willing and wants to fight Shawn Porter. It's not his call, common knowledge. PBC fighters cant eat sleep drink or sh11t until Jaymon tells them so.

smh Thurman has lost me as a fan with his bs, not just with this fight but with the run of bums he has been put in with.

Thurman hasn't lost me yet, but this def don't look good! At one point I thought his comp was rising and was really impressed with his win against the ghost but now it's time to drop his nuts and try to clean out at least half of the division! 147 is very deep right now and Errol Spence is coming. Floyd is gone! Somebody needs to step up and be the man. I don't think Porter has the skill to be, but at least he got the nuts to try

If I were Porter I would be frustrated too. This fight was supposed to be happening in December.

That's what I think would happen in the fight, I wonder what's holding up the fight. I mean I think Thurman can beat anybody at 147 right now including Pac but this isn't like him! Kind of crazy! He been begging for big fights and now it sounds like he don't want to step up

Typical Haymon. He's bigger than the sport so he thinks. He's slow to promote and rarely fights fans want to see. Porter wears Thurman out if they fight.

I disagree all around the board. PBC has actually put on some best fights this year! Honestly better than HBO. Porter vs Brook, Porter vs Broner, Thurman vs Ghost, Cruz vs mind went blank but you know who. Garcia vs Peterson, Charlo vs Bundrage! That's great fights! Yea they had some stay busy fights, but even Khan vs Algeri was better than expected! And you got it backwards! I believe Thurman out boxes Porter and I'm a fan of both. But Porter just makes it a ugly fight. He's like a MMA wrestler. They will just lady on you and tire you out and beat you, but Thurman can keep distance and box or brawl

I wasn't a Porter fan at first because his style of fighting isn't the most appealing to me, but as time goes by I like him more and more. Outside of the ring he seems great, and I like his and his father's attitude towards making these fights. Best of all is he's good enough to beat most of Haymon's prized darlings. He already beat Broner after Haymon and co. tried to drain him down and put rehydration stipulations on him to keep him from his best. Now they need excuses to protect Thurman and Garcia. War Porter!!!
