Why do certain posters want PBC to fail and get happy if they have low numbers?

    Lol how embarrassing for him.
    Thread ended here,

Haymon fan boys act like the victims, while they're doing most of the cheerleading. Crazy how someone like Floyd has so much control over these betas.

    just enjoy boxing.

Doesn't mean Haymon can pull it off, but if he does, THE FANS will benefit. You complain about UFC fighters accepting crumbs, but how is that bad FOR THE FANS of UFC?

If there are two stars in a weight division and the fans want to see them fight, they probably will. If MMA didn't have a dominant league, the stars would be spread across several promotions and the fights the fans want to see most wouldn't happen.

If you believe it'll never happen, that is what you believe and I can't tell you you're wrong. We'll have to wait and see.

But a monopoly IS a good thing for the fans, if someone can pull it off. You don't see football fans wishing the NFL and AFL had never merged do you? Or that the NBA and ABA had never merged?

Or if you don't like team sport comparisons, does the average fan wish their favorite fighters were still spread across UFC, Strikeforce, Pride, Elite XC or anything else? Would the average fan be upset if UFC absorbed all of Bellator's fighters and could make fresh matches with their biggest stars?

Look, as someone IN THE BUSINESS, I was crushed when UFC bought Strikeforce. I'd busted my ass for Showtime and Strikeforce, but I have to remove any bias and accept that FOR THE FANS, it was a great thing.

PPV is dying. Boxing was going to need a revolution one way or the other.
Good little journal you got there,,,,

PPV is doing better than free PBC (witch really isn't since you need cable to watch most of the fights)

So why aren't you rooting for GBP to take over as one monopoly?

      Networkfanboys being exposed.

      • Floyd boys like Haymon while they hate on Arum/GBPs for the same reasons they defend PBC. It's pretty obvious why.

You literally cannot say one bad word against PBC or Haymon on here without being called a hater, anti Haymon or worse.
That does appear to be true on here.

          • HBO, SHO, PBC... it doesn't matter to me, I just want the best fights to get made. I have no clue why anyone would want any part of boxing to be a failure and have the nerve to call themselves a boxing fan.

            • Haymon is a known obstacle to good boxing fights. He does more than any other person to ruin the sport.

Remember Kovalev Stevenson? Much awaited matchup that everyone wanted? Haymon killed it.

Any true boxing fan should want obstacles to good fights removed.

                • Haymon's a self-serving prick who's short-changed the fans with his antics. People who want to see him fail don't want to see boxing fail, just Haymon.

While the other promoters they support, keep money to themselves, keep the belts in house with their in house fighting, they NEVER turn down fights, etc etc etc.....
And thats another thing, why are posters so upset that fighters are getting paid good money?? why do they even care what they are paid?
