Beterbiev is not proven yet... His record like 11-0?

If this was a wrestling match I would bet on Beterbiev... Caucasians are beasts in wrestling you know...

But this a boxing match so I voted for Ward.

You're probably right, but we'll see what Beterbiev becomes overtime

You're not crazy, more a man of reason... Beterbiev is still like an unknown hidden gem... He showed enough to believe and still not enough to conquer... I find it funny that all the hype goes to a possible Kovalev/Ward and Kovalev/Stevenson when the real threat comes from a low-profile-no-BS-talk Beterbiev... But again I'm biased...

Would be so cool if Beterbiev took Stevenson's title and fought winner of Kovalev-Ward

But in all honesty, I always wanted to see Pascal-Beterbiev. That's a war right there! Now that Pascal has a different trainer, it can happen.

Won't happen... Those guys hold a grudge against each other since their amateur years... Stevenson will never let Pascal make some $$$ with his name... Maybe when they're both shot this can happen though ...

AB doesn't have enough rounds in the bank, he does have talent, power and good amateur pedigree

At this time I favor Ward

Can Beterbiev continue to make 175? He has a huge frame and he finished amateurs at heavyweight (200lbs limit).

well, beterbiev's got more than a puncher's chance. he's bigger, by a good deal, and has a world class amateur background himself.

still, you have to favor ward's experience. he's got a style that works well against bigger guys. i don't expect him to get away with as much holding as he did at 168, because the guys will be stronger at 75. i expect him to still find a way to use the ring, and pick spots to either lead with the jab or pot shot.

ward is a ridiculously skilled boxer. i just don't htink beterbiev is ready, in spite of the fact that eh's got a ton of talent and he's got the amateur background. he'll pick the right spots and get all the way inside on beterbiev, and then make his way out if he's not strong enough to hold.

exicting fight. shouldn't be far from even. hopefully we start to see andre ward with top 175 lbers in 2016, and he fights kovalev at 175 on ppv in november
