Well, maybe we'll get to see Briggs fight Wilder. It should be fun either way. Let's go champ!!

I agree that it will be entertaining. But the result will be Briggs getting sparked in less than 4 rounds.

But I agree with wilder saying he needs to pass a drug test. Like I said in a previous post wilder would spark a juiced Briggs. But it's in boxing best interest to rid these kind of dudes. And if Briggs can't pass the test he doesn't deserve the payday regardless if he would lose using. If he can pass and prove hes clean I think it would be an entertaining fight for 4 rounds until Briggs gets sparked. But prove you are clean to be able to get the payday.

Lol!! Briggs loves this stuff! He's all smiles afterwards. Wilder has to have had one of the easiest runs to get a HW belt. He knows he hasn't been tested & he's shook!

As bad as Shannon Briggs is as an opponent. He is par maybe slightly less with what Wilder has been fighting lately.

I think getting him drug tested properly is the right move. Even though I think Wilder would spark him even if he is dirty, I think its in boxings best interest to weed out the PED cheats and if Briggs is dirty then he doesn't deserve the payday he would get.

If you weeded out the PED cheats in boxing, there wouldn't be much left. Drug tests now are completely irrelevant anyway - 5 weeks out?

Briggs has clearly been juicing for years and could cycle off for a few weeks, pass a test and still get tremendous benefits.

If Wilder only offered the Pole dude 250K, you can extrapolate that's about what he'd offer Briggs...or less. Briggs isn't much, but he's worth a half mil judging by the crowds that Wilder brings. But I'm guessing they probably will try to shortchange the guy with something between 100-200K. Which is peanuts by the time you figure paying the IRS, the trainers, training camp costs etc etc. If I were Briggs I'd tell him half a mil or no way. At some point, Wilder is gonna have to cough up some serious bucks this late stage of the game.

Like Wladimir Klitschko, Shannon needs to go take his old behind somewhere and retire before he ends up in permanent vegetative state from absorbing too many head blows which could result into severe brain trauma. That's right. I almost forgot, he can't because he's broke and he's looking for one last pay day.
