Does this honestly offend any normal not over sensitive person? It just devalues the term racist when any little thing at all is called racist. Like crying wolf.

So that would make ANYBODY with a bit of common sense think the reference was made because Kirkland is African American....which is most likely the case here....people may get technical and say people of ALL nationalities live in ******s....but this is African American slang we're talking about

If someone is acting a certain way, we'll say "why you acting so ******"...if a chick is behaving or talking in a certain way we'll say "B*tch take your ****** ass in the house" or something like that....it's AFRICAN AMERICAN slang and Lamps is knowledgeable enough to know how that term is used in urban cities across America

Issues like this reminds me of watching a fight....one guy gets hit and it looks like it doesn't hurt because his opponent didn't show the type of reaction a fighter normally does when hit hard....but the guy who took the punch may feel different about the shot than the audience do....he may have felt some type of power that he has to RESPECT because the shot did in fact sting him.....in this case, African Americans (who understand how the term is used) may feel different than non African Americans about Lamps ignorance....it is what it is!!...Lamps been suspected of being bigot for years....this is just another example why
Indeed, and the key here is Non-African Americans having enough empathy to get this. I'm not talking about controlling minds and or speech, or being ultra PC, just others having a bit more empathy, that might enable them to understand why people might be offended by the term being used by a white man....

One thing Jim always does that makes him sound like a total ****tard is pronounce foreign names in "the accent". I've heard him do it loads of times.

              He'll be like:

"And here's Michael Katsidis, who hails from [takes a breath, puts on the ****tiest Steve Irwin impression you've ever heard] Australia."

It reminds me of a Fat Yankess I once met, who told me her aunt came from England. When I asked where from, she suddenly puts on this voice like one of the butlers in Universal horror movies from the 1930s, and went "Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanchester".

It seemed beyond her that she could pronounce the city in her own voice.

I think he used ****** in place of gangsta... as urban vernacular is proliferated into mainstream media you will hear things like this often. In today's extra sensitive world where everyone gets offended easily this sort of stuff will continue to get more attention than it truly deserves.

That was a ****** choice of words for sure. Lambley is no boxer expert. He came to the job he has just being an all around sports announcer and knowing nothing about boxing. He has learned some boxing from calling fights for so long but I still have no respect for his opinion on anything to do with boxing and I don't like the way he does his job. He sometimes tries to call every punch thrown which is ridiculously ******. It's not boxing on the radio. Viewers can see every punch thrown and don't need blabbermouth Lampley to tell them about every punch. Kellerman has always loved boxing and knows boxing. If Lampley never called another fight I would be pleased about that.

You are located in California but it sounds like you are from England and have a low opinion of fat yanks. If that is true why do you live in the country of fat yanks?
