I'm with Roy. I have no time for catch weight Queens.

These people aren't fighting men. If you can't make Light Middle healthily, you're a Middleweight. Weigh in up to 160 and let your opponent do the same. Simple as that. So either fight or fuck off.

LOL you just merked this whole era. Manny, Floyd, Cotto, Canelo all have asked for & gotten high level catchweight fights (catchweight fights are super common outside of the higher levels of boxing which is why I don't got a problem with them, its standard **** happening on every card).

I think the easy answer is no to catchweights. Under very specific circumstances they're excusable (a clearly small guy coming up in weight to face someone close to the limit, small guy coming down to meet someone coming up for the first time). Team 155 isn't even trying to be mildly accommodating or realistic right now.

... Kellerman, Floyd, Oscar and Tezcatlipoca are all for Canelo as against the Mongol barbarian...

Canelo is a full fledged Middleweight, there is no reason for him to be draining GGG

Are you rolling with Roy on this one, or kicking it with Kellerman?

unless its 2 guys from different divisions meeting somewhere in the middle (and even then Im not crazy about it), the ONLY purpose of a catchweight is to weaken your opponent. Thats what boxing has come to. I wouldnt be surprised if pretty soon we start seeing the cottos and canelos of the sport start limiting opponents to a 4 week camp, or to 50 rounds of sparring, or anything else that can make it an unfair fight. Good thing commmissions dont allow different weight gloves, or one of these vaginas would try and make their opponent wear 16oz gloves while they wear 10s......

I vote no catch weight...only cuz it's a mw title fight. If ggg agrees to a cw and it happens I'm good with that tho. But i do think the cw should be 157 if anything.

Either Canelo wants full credit being the bad ass that goes up and gets the job done against a perceived monster, or there are question marks that come with the amount of credit he should get because he fought the monster on the best possible terms.

The best chance at victory is important because that is what pays the bills, but with the risk comes the biggest reward.
