Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: I Don’t Respect “Cheater” Luis Ortiz

Deontay Wilder will have an eye on the Dec. 19 fight between heavyweights Bryant Jennings and Luis Ortiz. But no matter who wins, he already knows how he feels about Ortiz.

“I don’t respect him. He’s a cheater,” Wilder said on Dec. 5 while speaking at Barclays Center to media who had assembled for that night’s fight between Daniel Jacobs and Peter Quillin.

Thats true ! But I think Wilder has been juicing he was a skinny 200 pound dude no muscles can't knock out anyone in the amateurs than all of a sudden he packs on 20 pounds of muscle at age 28 and knocks people out fishy. In boxing it's very difficult to pack on 20 pounds of muscle do to it's all cardio like 95 % of it. It's like all of a sudden a Kenyan long distance runner would pack on 10 pounds of muscle at age 28. So shut the Phuck up Wilder sounds to me like your ducking any threat to your Paper Tiger title

Ortiz got suspended. He served his time. It's time to move on.

I'm sure he's on year round testing I would think, if not he should be. This sport needs more testing like the other sports are doing.

Boxing needs some type of union so it could figure out ways to properly test these guys. A lot of questions with the majority of boxers these days.

Also we are about to get a lot of questions answered in regards to see how good Mr. Ortiz is. Based just on how he is as a boxer the man looks to be the total package. Fast, quick, powerful, and athletic. But his competition has been soft so Jennings will be a true test.

Here is the question if Ortiz beats Jennings could you make an argument that his win would be better than Wilder's over Stivernes? He should pay attention to December 19th because the winner becomes a major threat to the division.

For someone who fights no one he sure talks smack about all these fighters he too scared to fight. Wilder is a joke look who he has fought all year since he won that belt everyone he opens his fat mouth about are fighting better opponents while he stay fighting whatever tomatoe haymon hand picks for him.

Apparently you do. Otherwise you wouldn't have read his comments and responded. I don't believe you understand how ****** and contradicting it is to say "nobody cares."

Standing up for Wilder is like standing up for Floydie with his IV use. Not that Wilder juices, I don't know, but what I'm saying is the guy is way too much on words and little on action... so no one should be standing up for that. Step up there bubba... fight some legit challenges. Or maybe there should be a new sanctioning organization... the Voluntary Defense League. Only skeered fighters are given VDL belts... and they can fight no one in the top 15 of their weight class.... only cans... plus there would be paid off judges and refs of course. Kind of like playing pinball if you could rig the game so the steel ball never went down the chute. Funny how Wilder will probably find a way to duck Povetkin all of 2016 and maybe longer, but Fury can't catch a break with the wacko IBF. This sport has some seriously strange goings-on sometimes.
