That is, unless he takes someone's spot like Heiland/Mago/Wade/Murata. I don't think Lara wants to go through the trenches for a title shot.
He has dominated two fighters who have beaten future lineal middleweight champs. He fought at least par with the current lineal champ. It's ridiculous that he has to fight Heiland to get a shot of motherefffing Jacobs, who isn't even a real title holder. He's more than deserving right now.

Jacob nor GGG should be expected to face Lara because he feels like moving up. Beating Heiland puts him in line for GGG, so at least when he or Decubas talk ****, it actually holds some weight. If he's gonna fight an overmatched opponent, let it be someone at MW (Heiland/Blanco) that will put him in line for a title shot. I'm tired of Lara thinking that these relevant MWs are gonna line up to fight him, he's gotten delusional. He can fight the best available @154, or try to get in line at MW. I don't want to see another Delvin or Zaveck, literally pointless match-ups.

So you having wins and great performances against real world class fighters is worth less than beating a few mediocre MW journeyman? I don't understand that reasoning and I don't think I want to understand really.

Team Lara is going to keep yelling like a toddler for a MW titlist while fighting irrelevant LMWs, does that seem like sound reasoning? GGG is gonna fight Johnson next, while Jacobs has to fight Eubank/O'Sullivan. What would you have Lara do in the meantime: continue to call out GGG and fight a weak LMW, fight someone relevant at LMW (Charlo, Andrade), or try to establish himself at MW against someone who's ranked high? Those are his three options, and I'm tired of him choosing the first one.

Good and makeable fight. It's Jacob's path to respectability and Lara's path into MW. Do it!

Yes i know Angulo almost broke Lara hands with so many blows to the head he took, the guy was a human punch bag. Out the 2 nockdows was a complete entertaining one side fight for Lara.
And Vanes? The fight start slow then as soon as Lara started taging him again and again, vanes quit. Yes watch the fight as soon as the doctor approach him to see the cut, vanes said he couldn't continue. Quit. And we know on vanes owns word, he was told the judges were on the back.

Lara all bad decisions has been under someone else promoting company.

If you want to see the most convincing decision ever to be rob go and watch Lara Williams.

Now if you want to talk about a guy who hasn't won any of his important fight convincingly talk about PPV king Canelo. Who even in his cleared win against Cotto was so low volumen that made it closer than he need to.

Extremely easy to make. Both are PBC/SHO fighters. No HBO to deal with.

What will be the excuses on this one? Any guesses?

I favor Jacobs to fold Lara up like a lawn chair.

Why is Lara not calling out Jacobs? Is it because he has no excuse in case Jacobs calls his bluff? Remember, it's easy for PBC/SHO fighters to call out any HBO fighter, then say the fight can't happen because of network/promotional differences. In this case there is none.

                      That's basically it

Let's see if Lara calls him out , Jacobs just made a name for himself and is a hot fighter right now no politics involved in making it
