Andre Ward is all of 31 years old, just tentatively moving into his third weight class. Beyond that, no one ever said anything about a heavyweight title run; like Roy Jones Jr, Andre Ward envisioned himself, one day, challenging for a heavyweight title.

Because, frame for frame, Andre Ward and Roy Jones Jr are about the same size (Ward being a couple inches taller likely opens up for another 10-15lbs beyond where Roy Jones went up to in his move; Roy is a bit longer though).

Roy Jones Jr was 34 years old when he fought John Ruiz for his share of the heavyweight title. In three years, Andre Ward would be 34 years of age, having spent that whole period of time at 175 or higher.

I doubt that he would go after an 'Anthony Joshua' or 'Deontay Wilder' title shot, but if a guy like Ruslan Chagaev has a heavyweight title in three years, you can bet your bottom dollar that a 6'1 205lb Andre Ward would be looking at getting a shot.
so the "I could beat a Klitschko", Im guessing that was just yet another "aspirational statement"???

lol dude you are too funny......

HBO isn't putting anywhere near the effort to force GGG into a challenging fight as they did with Ward vs Kovalev. The fact is HBO succeeded here, so there are no double standards. The double standards you speak of are the opposite.

Why would hbo pay him that much money do you even know how boxing works you phagget nerd. Cottos minimum was 3M and after he ended up with 7M and your saying Martinez didn't see another dime, Dibella is 100x smarter than you dips shtt he took Martinez to were the most money was at. He retired after the cotto fight anyways why not make more money with gg (as you say) if he's done after that fight. Gg opponent lemiux made 1.5 and it was ppv ha Dumbass you don't know shtt if you think Martinez and gg would make that much without a ppv

GGG made 1.5 million against Monroe
Pavlik in your av made 2.5 million against Gary Lockett
Ward makes 2 million per fight
Bradley makes over 2 million per fight

          ALL non PPV

Damn straight Martinez would have got 1.5 Million for a middleweight unification fight. Stop talking nonsense

I get the feeling that Floyd hasn't really watched Ward or Golovkin fight much at all. It's just gotten to the point where you can't say something about one without mentioning the other.
