  • Mayweather double standards when he talks about Ward and Golovkin

    They say:

FLOYD MAYWEATHER SOUNDS OFF ON GOLOVKIN AND ANDRE WARD DOUBLE STANDARD: "THEY'RE TRYING TO GET ANDRE WARD BEAT"
What is the double standard? I'll show you that actually the double standard is being used against GGG and in favour of Ward.

So when they want to make a Ward vs Kovalev fight, they're trying to get Andre Ward beat? And why don't you think the same when they try to make GGG vs Ward? It's clear that they want to see GGG lose. Not only because they want to see him against Ward at 168, but also because they want to see him against Canelo at 155. They want GGG to lose, badly.

At least Ward vs Kovalev is an even match, where both fighters would weight the same, have the same height, and reach. No difference at all, no advantages for anyone. So what's the matter? it's a fair match.

I want to know who forced Andre Ward to fight at 172 in his last fight? according to the whinners he is being forced to fight Kovalev? but I remember him fighthing at LHW last time, and there was no talk of "I'm being forced to move up" thing.

GGG vs Ward would be a guy almost two inch taller, weighting more, and having reach advantage, against a smaller guy.

So, the reality is that Mayweather and other wants to see GGG lose against a bigger opponent, having disadvantage in every department.

So they shouldn't talk about double standars, at all.

BUT, it gets even funnier, when Mayweather says:

I think that his body is so used to fighting at 168. If that's what he's accustomed to, then that's where he should continue to fight at. If the money is not going to be ridiculous, I mean, why go up
That's what he says about Ward. If we replace the number 168 with the number 160 if we have the same standards, which supposedly Floyd has... then he should be OK with GGG staying at 160 and doing his thing there. But NO, he says: "I will be impressed with GGG when he moves up and beat Ward". Double standards? yes, against GGG.

And then he compares the whole situation with when he "had to" face Gatti, and talks like he was being put against a high risk. Lol Gatti had like 5 loses, no comparison to GGG or Ward who are undefeated. He tries to makes us believe he was involved in similar high risks fights.

He says there's a double standard against Ward, and actually the double standard is against GGG. No one is forzing these boxers to do anything, they are doing what they want and Ward is fighting at LHW since his last fight for some reason he knows. Ward can come down to 168 and do his thing there if he wants to.

You idiot. Ward has already faced world class opposition and proved himself. They want Ward to loose. GGG has faced no one worthy of world class title, they want to see him finally fight someone good. Difference man

Finally fight someone good that belongs to two divisions above him? seems fair to you? Did Ward do that to prove his greatness? No, so, shut up.

GGG has been avoided by every 160 champion because he's absolutely brillant. Even Sergio Martinez said it... GGG is off the charts. No one wanted to fight him. He's already proven, not only because he destroys every MW they put in front of him, also because he never loses any round while doing it.

Maravilla didn't duck Gennady you idiot. Why would he fight gg for less money when he can make millions from fighting cotto. Why is that so hard for nerds to understand
Martinez did avoid anyone he had to earn his shot

He got 1.5 million for fighting Cotto LOL. He would have gotten that for fighting GGG. He would have been the A-side and probably would have gotten more.

Little G and team - Anyone from 154-168
Little G - I want to fight Andre Ward
Little G fans - Everyone from 154 to 168 is ducking Golovkin

After Ward calls him out it's all "He's too small, not enough money". GTFO ya'll started the Ward **** and then come up with excuses.

Weather I agree with Mayweather, I'm not sure. It's his opinion and he's obviously been in the game long enough to warrant it.

But your double standard point falls apart because well, nobody (except some fans) is trying to make Ward vs GGG, Certainly not HBO

mayweather just scared of lil G, you honestly think Mayweather wouldent have remtached cotto at 160 for his belt if lil g wasnt there? if lil g wasnt at 160 he could easily went to 160 and say he beat the best at that weight for the belt but with lil g their he cant sell those wolf tickets.

So now he playing his hiding game again (like when he hid from margarito) for a year or 2 till another easy accolade shows its head.
