Remember Mills Lane was a real Court Judge and eventually got his own show.

I figured these guys were making a bit more considering how important their job is. Damn.

I guess it's not the amount that surprises me most (I should have clarified), but rather the tiny proportion that they get in relation to the amount of money a fight brings in (and the two I just listed are stratospheric fights)). So average ref pay is way lower than those figures listed above.
Kind of like if min wage becomes $15, people in those jobs will be celebrating like mad, wholly unaware of how much money there is to go around in that corporation.
And $25,000 for a fight that generated $500 million in total revenue gives you an idea of how much they think of refs in the puzzle. May not seem crazy to you guys, but a guy (who likely knows he's being cheated btw--Kenny ain't ******) in the center of everything...literally, and with the potential to ruin the whole event, only getting peanuts. It's kind of bull****

refs do NOT have to train for months prior to a fight like fighters..
so 1900 is quite a bit lol.

I'd take it! For a single fight $1900 is very good.
