Same size difference between Mayweather and GGG as GGG and Ward.

So why is Mayweather ducking GGG?
May weather has fought been champion in 5 weight classes, lineal in 4...he has the right to say that

How many lineal titles or weight classes has GGG been in?

And in how many competitive fights, even?.

His most 'competitive' fights I recall were Rosado and Adama.
GGG has never faced adversities in the ring, I wonder how he reacts when things don't go his way.
In that regard he is still untested, more so than Canelo.

Mayweathers division is 147. He stepped up a division to 154 to win titles.

Golovkin's division is 160. Had he stepped up a division to 168 and beat Ward then Mayweather said he would be impressed.

        Fair enough comment imo!

          Correct.

And Golovkin has not made 154.

If he can, then going to 155 for Canelo and getting another title in his quest to unify should be his next step?

ward was the obvious choice for ggg but the powers that be didnt want that mega fight its not hard to figure out why. if ward beats ggg hbo losses out on a ton of money cause for whatever reason gullible boxing fans tune in to watch ggg fight tomato cans. i mean who else is ggg going to fight thats a 50 50 fight?

that wbc belt should have nothing to do wit it..it is not going to throw one jab, slip one punch, or take instructions from any corner man...

              GET OVER THAT EXCUSE..

try as hard as u may but andy lee and billy the kid are not respectable opponents for a guy considered worldclass as ggg is
Yes, it seems that Mayweather not moving up one division from his natural division and fighting a high risk, relatively low reward Golovkin at 154 is a duck, yet Golovkin not doing the same with Ward isn't?

Golovkin can make 154 for Floyd but not 155 for Canelo?

Come on guys, you can do better than this . . . .

He wasnt the mando to Floyd. He IS the mando to Canelo.

Being mando carries with it certain privileges. One of them being that you dont have to concede weight if you dont want to.

Ward was GGG door to superstar status. Dropped the ball.

Go ahead and say no and cry cause GGG ducked him but its true.

Ok I agree but then the same rules apply to roidweather.
He fought c level fighters like Maidana and Guerrero and then made JMM jump two weight classes and roidweather said
                    Oh they called me out
Well he was called out by margs, sexy Sergio, and now GGG at 154 where he had a belt but I don see you bagging on him for it

No arguement with what you say re: mandatory.

However my point is, if he can make 154, it's no big deal for him to go to 155 for the biggest fight out there at present and to continue his quest to unify.

He might be mandatory for Canelo but he's still not the A-side in that fight as regards "star power" or whatever you want to call it!
