    So Did Brook Duck Chaves?

Brook , or his team or Hern got cold feet....

I feel sorry for Chaves, he trained hard, and Brook cancelled on him, not once but twice.

Brooks amazing run Jo Jo Dan, Frankie Gavin and next up Kevin Bumzier

Chaves probably carried too much power for Kells delicate whiskas

The same Chaves who you said was a bum about a week ago?

Looks like he is getting screwed over in this situation. Someone needs to ask Hearn about it, the **** thinks he can get away with murder now.

Chaves wasnt the big name Brook promised his adoring fans

but Kevin Bumzier is 3 levels below him..absolute joke

I didnt believe Brook would duck Chaves, but i guess the Ingle camp weighed the risk and it didnt pass the health and safety test

Chaves would have been the hardest puncher Brook has ever faced

      Disgusting how they treated him...

If he doesnt fight him next its a duck, but i wont mind if he takes on Tim Bradley next i suppose.

If its Bizier, Brook go stab yourself in the other leg, this is getting beyond a joke.

Yeah they should compensate him for this BS, making a guy get ready for a fight twice now and ****ing him over, Hearn pisses me off to the max with his ***tardness

For me it all depends how forceful the IBF have been.

If they have said to Brook 'Either fight Bizier or you will get stripped' then there isnt a huge amount he can do. He isnt Fury. Fury has 2 other belts and also beat the universally recognised HW champ. For Brook the belt is everything and is a huge negotiating tool.

If they just put Bizier in as a mandatory and Brook/Team took the opportunity to take a risk free fight rather than fight Chavez then its obviously a ***** move.

Need more info before throwing him under the bus imo

He is just waiting to cash that Amir Khan ticket. That will secure him financially and now that the fight looks likely Hearn is avoiding any kind of risk. As much as it is disgusting for the fans, Hearn is probably doing right by his fighter. How do we fix this in boxing?? Who knows. It does show me that they don't have a huge amount of confidence in him.

If he fights Khan and loses, at least he has made what is likely to be a pay day between £3-5 million. If he wins he will have huge career momentum off such a massive fight and then they will probably pursue unifications and dangerous fights. Unfortunately this is how boxing works.

I said this over a year ago Brook is avoiding anyone with a pulse.

And his fanboys jumped on me..

Brook, Hern and the Ingle camp lack confidence, he didnt want to fight Porter, he had no choice in the matter.

He's now only interested in Khan, and win or lose, he'll never fight Thurman, he'll never fight Spence, he'll never fight anyone with a pulse

Once Khan makes Brook a millionaire, Brook will retire. His has no ambition, he's a type of guy who just wants to eat loads of food and party in Ibiza.

It looks that way. He pulled Chaves out of an eliminator against Bizier to offer him a direct shot at the title, then he pulled of the fight to take on Bizier, who Chaves would've smashed in that eliminator. It's a very bad look for Brook.
