On another note, if you watch the Pulev fight their feet were sinking into the ring, so he obviously had the sponge set-up on the go for that fight.
Sure, I get why he's saying it, and I suppose I can't really blame him if that's his way of keeping on top of things in the run up to the rematch. But honestly I always figured Wlad to be a much more honest and open person than that. It's disappointing he has to rely on obvious fabrications to explain away his defeat when he could easily tell the truth and no one would think any the less of him.

I never noticed the canvas in the Pulev fight. If so that's disgraceful and further devalues my opinion of a man I once held in high regard.

And here's the dirty sponge ring in the Pulev fight:

He's really tarnished his image for me, and I think he deserved the loss.
I remember the headbutt and how pissed off I was that the first time someone starts to tie Wlad up he resorts with that sort of dirty move, after years of doing the same to other opponents.

Never noticed the bouncy castle in the Pulev fight, but that gif shows it very blatantly.

      Wlad is a pure dirtbag.

Didnt you say Fury was gonna bully Wlad to the ropes last out, soften him up with his granite fists before finishing him ?

I was hoping he would, but Wlad was so baffled by his other-worldly and advanced tactics that Fury didn't have to do much more than out-jab him.

Hopefully Wlad comes with more aggressiveness this time so Fury can finish him savagely and paint the first four rows red with his blood.

Because Fury is an heavy handed brute, right ?

It's hard to tell for sure because it all depends on if Wlad fights in a different style than he has for the past 10-12 years. He needs to open up and throw a bigger variety of punches. He's fast and more powerful than Fury. I don't even think Tyson can hurt Wlad with that style unless Wlad gets TOO wreckless.

I'm gonna bank on Wlad coming in with a different gameplan. I'll say Wlad wins by UD, dropping Fury in the 3rd and 9th.

                    Actually, he is.

He is a high level boxer so he touches opponents up with finesse punches that don't always have steam, but Fury will put you down if he so pleases. Add the fact that he is a good counter puncher, and expect to see Wlad's face all over the arena.
