Not gonna happen, Fury can't fight the way he did versus Cunningham against guys like AJ, Wilder, Klitschko and Ortiz. He'd be knocked out, and therefore castigated, in all fairness Fury fought the correct gameplan versus Klitschko, peak a boo, shell boxing, hiding behind the jab and smothering his opponent to negate inside work, those gangly arms are perfect for tying up his opponents. I recall the Chisira one fight and actually appreciated the defensive aspect he utilised them for, I just never liked the way he sold himself and his in ring style.
This fight should be billed Father Time vs Feather Time.Comment

When he's still standing due to his iron will, and iron chin, then what will you say?
You don't like skilled, cerebral, slick boxers, got it. There is no denying how special of a fighter Fury is though.Comment

Wlad's just not used to letting his hands go any more. People who've never boxed don't understand the fact that you need to utilise entirely an different mentality if you want to be an aggressive come forward fighter. Wlad's whole game is geared towards him fighting one way and one way only. It's what's engrained in his neural engrams after years of honing and paring and chipping away anything that might leave him vulnerable to attack. Even if Wlad chooses to fight in a more aggressive style his subconscious will be actively fighting against it. His mind will be telling his body to do one thing while his instincts, muscle memory, what have you, will be telling him to do another.Originally posted by b0xI voted Fury by KO, although for this one I could see it being a corner stoppage or doctor stoppage. If wlad wears his heart on his sleeve and come out punching, it could be dangerous for Fury but I see it more likely that Wlad will be hurt. He would also tire himself out as he's not used to fighting that way and Fury has great stamina for his size, which could result in him taking a beating. If Wlad couldn't win with a sponge ring, big thumbed-gloves and high-heel shoes in Germany the first time, I just can't see it this time either. I made a tidy profit betting on Fury last time and I'll look to do the same again, although as always in boxing, one lucky punch or one mistake can change everything.
I suspect we might see a marginally more aggressive Wlad here, but one who reverts to type once a few rounds have gone by. Anyone expecting Anthony Joshua levels of aggression are going to be disappointed though.Comment

It's truly sad that Wlad is even attempting to make people believe he just made a mistake in his last fight when he had twelve full rounds to do something, anything different. That performance showed him in a terrible light, as a mentally limited, robotically performing, passionless fighter who only decided to turn things up in the very last round when it was far too late to do anything about it.Originally posted by b0xGreat explaination. 11 Years of growing into a style that Emmanuel Steward crafted to protect his suspect chin cannot be overcome at the age of 40. Wlad was exposed as a fighter that could not adapt simply because he hadn't needed to until then. Simply saying he made a mistake for 12 whole rounds is laughable. He was neutralised by Fury.Comment
