Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Don't put unnecessary pressure on verdejo that is not needed.

My question is if verdejo is fighting at lightweight and has regional titles at that weight why is he calling out bandido vargas/ orlando salido ?? Is he planning on moving down? 135 seems safer at the moment.

No he is not even close to being in the same class as Mayweather. He is ranked 54th in the world by boxrec. He has never defeated anybody in the top 100. In other words he hasn't done **** yet. Mayweather was the 130 pound champion of the world just after his 21st birthday. How can you compare a world champion at 21 to 22 year old Verdejo who is not even close to being a top 10 contender. Vedejo is the 54th best lightweight in the world. Why even talk about him until he becomes a top 10 contender if he ever gets ranked that high? He beat 18 mediocre fighters. Big deal.

Bit unfair don't you think? Floyd developed his defense over the course of 20 years as a pro. Verdejo is just two years in. Floyd wasn't a defensive mastermind two years into his pro career. I don't think ts intended a direct comparison.

And what are you talking about chin. Never seen Verdejo dropped or even stunned.

By I've seen Floyd stunned a couple of times.

/thread. It's pretty common knowledge that puerto ricans overhype their fighters. They like to see them get toppled and exposed i guess. Masochists lol
