It almost seemed absurd not to hand the belt straight to him.

A real boxing fan would have questioned why Wladimir did not get to fight for the vacant WBC heavyweight title IMMEDIATELY after Vitali retired..... as he was OBVIOUSLY the best heavyweight on the planet.

You're offering a lot of insults, but you're not offering much substance.

Nobody is dis*****g that Klitschko was the #1 heavyweight in 2013, but there was no basis for the WBC to rank him as he already held titles in other organizations. This is standard procedure in all four sanctioning bodies.

When the WBC title became vacant, standard procedure in all four sanctioning bodies would be for the top two available contenders in that organization's rankings to meet for the vacant title.

If you disagree with standard boxing procedure, contact the organizations and let them know that you would like them to change their rules.

But there was no basis for the WBC to award Klitschko the heavyweight title when it became vacant.

You are an utter tool for supporting the absurd.

It is very ****** imho, to argue that a guy who is clearly the best heavyweight on the planet, should not be allowed to fight for the heavyweight title.

But it is beyond ******ity to provide justification as to why the WBC should ignore Klitschko for being the WBA champ..... but then overlook the fact that the WBC not only recognised the WBA middleweight champ Golovkin, they installed him as mandatory.

This has all been clearly explained, so not sure why you chose to suddenly pop up and start from square 1 again.

I suppose I will just wait here in anticipation of the next round of justification to support the absurd?
