Glaser reporting 650,000k buys for Cotto-Canelo........

    From Rick Glaser's facebook page......

"Here is the Canelo - Cotto PPV figure, and it barely broke 650,000 PPV buys!!! I know a certain writer reported a 900,000 PPV buy figure, the same reporter that wrote that GGG - Lemieux broke 150,000 buys, when in fact that fight in actuality did 97,000 buys. Who is feeding the writer tainted info, but lots of great food!!!"

cant wait for the hate squad to show up and discredit these numbers.

but but but but 97k doe

(FYI, I still believe the 900k+ number, but this still is going to be alot of fun)

I predicted it would do around this number, when I heard 900K being reported I was initially pleasantly surprised that it did so well, but then again...

It's been 10 days since the PPV and no one has released the numbers yet... That could mean one of two things, either they're still counting the buys, cause it did a lot, or, it didn't reach expectations and they don't want to put it out there.

I'm guessing it's the latter. It shouldn't take this long to count the PPV numbers...

But hey, 650K is a very good imo and if it turns out to be 900K then it is even better.

people got tired to pay for overhyped fights, you will never see big numbers again. the trick doesn't work anymore.

canelo cotto was a good fight actually, but all the other were not worth to pay $$

Vargas-Muira was worth the $$$ by itself. Cotto-Canelo was a bonus lol

That's not how PPV numbers are determined.

Its possible. Usually when a PPV did big numbers the promoters and networks waste no time putting it out there. Go back to Floyd/Canelo, Floyd/Mosely or ODL/Pacquiao, we had those numbers quick.
It could be that the PPV underperformed so they may wait until the fight is ancient history or they may say nothing like the last Mayweather fight and let people speculate.
