More like LOL at the ppl who voted for Mayweather thinking he left a bigger impression in and to the sport of boxing and popularity outside of it as well,i only wish you made the poll where we could see who voted for him.

lmfao....Floyd and legacy shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence. Or paragraph for that matter.

There's two considerations here. On paper, sure, Floyd ranks higher. But, in the eyes of thepublic, Floyd has never eclipsed Tyson at any point in his career. Even when he sold 4mill PPVs, Tyson was still the more well-known, loved, and memorable fighter.
Not to discount Floyd's accomplishments, but in 5 years, how many clicks are Mayweather videos going to be getting vs Tyson videos (which are 30 years old and transferred from VHS). I'd estimate Tyson gets more traffic 30 fold.

LOL. As Floyd himself has said, he's a true 140. He is probably the best JWW of all time.

But he's NOT the best WW of all time, even if you only go back to when the 140 class started.

Feel free to name a better fighter than Floyd in the past 20 years. Who ya got? Bernard Hopkins? DLH? Pac? Floyd is way better by every imaginable standard.

Its hard to say. When Tyson ended his career he was disgraced. He retired broke and a loser. However, at his peak Tyson was far more relevant in the mainstream than Floyd. Tyson was seen as the baddest man on the planet now hes seen as re a less a joke. Floyd left the sport on his own terms, beat the best fighters he fought (unlike Tyson) and Floyd was the more well preserved fighter.

Instead of asking yourselves who would you rather hang out with, ask yourselves if you were a boxer who's career would you rather have? And that's Floyd.
