Having a steroid cheat the face of boxing on Spike is why boxing is a joke to the mainstream. And posters who are alright with this because they are Haymon fans it is just pathetic. So any poster who is alright with this should never ever complain about any fighter who comes up dirty again. 1st off, he is a lousy commentator. The only time he can get sentences together or give an articulate statement is when is is talking about himself. When it comes to boxing he just throws out platitudes. No detail, no insight just generalities. Wow! I cannot believe the posters who are alright with Tarver's steroid use. The ****ty excuses are I like his commentating. So because you like his commentating he should not receive any repercussions for his steroid use.

Tarver is a real boxing commentator and is leaps and bounds better than Roy "he hurt!! He hurt Jim" Jones who is at HBO. I hope he doesn't lose his job on PBC Spike, I love their team and the fights always deliver.

I heard Tarver was in huge debt and Haymon took care of it but in return Tarver has to work for Al Haymon. I'm glad he found his niche on the mic

What do I expect from a poster who's name is Fetta nob cheese. Tell me is that a statement about your hygiene or how you like your choice of c***s to taste?

Tarver has to deal with the State Commissions. Are the steroids affecting his job as commentator? Are they giving him the extra edge over other commentators? It shows that Haymon is loyal, maybe to a fault. He's given Roberto Garcia numerous chances after he's messed up. Like DeGale said, if you lose a fight you aren't finished. You see HBO give up on fighters if they lose a fight. Haymon will have you fighting again in a couple of months. Dusty Harrison was a top prospect who lost his step up fight to Willie Nelson. Harrison was back on tv a cpl of weeks ago fighting again. Paul Williams said he still talks to Haymon on a regular basis and Haymon helps him out. He's had Jacobs doing TV work. Jacobs isn't really good right now but it's a start. I remember Jalen Rose being horrible when he'd do TV work during his off-season and now he's one of the best. He's allowing fighters an opportunity to make a living in their chosen field. What's so bad about that? Boxing fans seem to love the story of the boxer who made millions and ended up broke. Haymon is trying to reverse that trend. Kellerman admitted to beating his girlfriend and Lamps was questioned about beating his. I don't see the calls for HBO to fire them. Merchant was drunk every show! Roy Jones was popped for steroid use but I don't see you calling for his removal
